rCALC™ Ratings Lookup and Calculator

Overview

rCALC™ Ratings Lookup and Calculator is an SMS application that allows you to lookup the rating of a tournament Scrabble player or calculate new ratings by sending a text message from your text-capable phone. Results are sent back to you in a separate text message.

Usage

Send a text message to DOTNET (368638) in one of the following formats:   RCALC LastName FirstName   RCALC rating wins opp1 opp2 ... oppN All requests must start with the keyword rCALC. Requests are case independent. Separate parameters with spaces.. Names must match the database entry exactly. Partial names are allowed.

Examples

RCALC MANNELLA ADRIAN - Returns MANNELLA ADRIAN 1379 RCALC MANN - Returns 5 records starting with the first record where name begins with MANN, or the next nearest match if not existent. RCALC 1379 3 1324 1411 1338 1359 1393 - Returns an estimated rating based on 3 wins in a 5 game series agains opponents with the listed ratings.   Old Rating 1379   Wins 3   Exp Wins 2.598   Multiplier 20   Field Avg 1365   Raw pts 8.04   Bonus pts 0   New Rating 1387
